Few things frustrate me more than feeling as though my time has been wasted—especially when my intentions were genuine and unappreciated. At my core, I am someone who naturally seeks to help others, and that is not something I can or want to change.
There are moments when offering support and kindness can feel draining, particularly when those efforts are overlooked or undervalued. While that can be discouraging, it does not diminish who I am. I recognize that disappointment is a natural response, but it does not alter my character or my commitment to showing up for others.
Helping people is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make a conscious effort not to allow others’ actions or reactions to dictate my own. I choose to remain consistent in my values, regardless of how they are received.
